Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using the Croatian Fiscalization app ("the App") on your Shopify store, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of service

The App provides tools for fiscalizing invoices in accordance with Croatian law, including communication with the Croatian tax authority (CIS), storage of fiscal data and JIR codes, and export of invoice data. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with applicable law and that you hold a valid FINA certificate and any other required authorizations.

3. Your obligations

You agree to:

• Provide accurate company and certificate data and keep it up to date.
• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with Croatian fiscal and data protection laws.
• Not misuse the App or attempt to circumvent its security or functionality.
• Comply with the Shopify Partner Program Agreement and Acceptable Use Policy where applicable.

4. Fees and payment

Fees (if any) for the App are as described in the Shopify App Store listing and are charged through Shopify's billing mechanisms. You agree to pay all applicable fees for your chosen plan. Refunds are subject to Shopify's and our refund policy as stated in the listing.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that fiscalization will always be accepted by the tax authority. You are responsible for verifying the correctness of fiscal data and for your own tax and legal compliance.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms or for other operational or legal reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases; we may retain data as required by law or our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.

9. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
